Multiple Layout is a function that allows multiple different invoice layouts to be put together and exported as
a multiple page PDF.
As an example, we’ll make a quotation layout that spans two pages. First, we create an invoice layout for the first page. The table at the bottom of the page will span over into the
second page, but we’ll set the records to be displayed from only 1 to 6 in the menu on the left (these are the
only records that will fit on the first page).
Next, we’ll create an invoice layout for the second page. This second page will contain records 7-17, so we’ll set the records to be displayed from 7 to 17 in the menu on
the left, and save the layout.
Now we’ve created two separate layouts. The next step is the join them using Multiple
Layout. Click on the “Add Multiple Layout” button on the Print Creator homepage.
From the Add Multiple Layout screen, create a name for your layout, and then select the two
single layouts to add to the Multiple Layout. When done, click “Save”. You can also click the “Preview” button to see a preview of your PDF.
Now from the details view of the linked Kintone app, the name of the Multiple Layout
appears as an option next to the “Output” button. Clicking this will export a two-page PDF containing the two single layouts we created.
